We had an amazing stay at this secluded, romantic little hideaway. the view over the hills was absolutely stunning, and we could even enjoy it from the deck with a glass of wine. the kitchen was well-stocked and the fresh sourdough bread was fantastic. We loved the fact that breakfast was included, with tasty items to make ourselves. the jacuzzi was a lovely bonus and the binoculars provided allowed us to spot some curious creatures in the area. It was the perfect peaceful getaway and we would definitely return!
Although we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we did notice a few minor issues. the bathroom was a little on the small side and the shower lacked power.

We had a lovely short stay at Folly Villa and would consider coming back if we're in the area. The view over Ashford Hanger was truly amazing, giving us a floating/flying feeling. The house had everything we could need, including a well-appointed kitchen, towels, blankets, and cushions. We were treated to bird song and aerial displays by buzzards, and the low light pollution allowed for excellent star gazing at night. The host was welcoming, and we appreciated all the little extras, like tasty sourdough bread, sausages, bacon, and even little cakes!
Would recommend this hotel.

The property had everything needed for a comfortable stay, including a stunning view. The self-catering breakfast provided tasty items and there was free Wi-Fi. The location was great for walkers and offered a peaceful atmosphere. The host was welcoming and provided lots of little touches that made the stay special.
The cleanliness of the property could have been improved, with dust and bits found under furniture and in the bed. Some bins had not been emptied.

We had an unforgettable stay at Folly Villa. The cabin itself was spacious and beautifully furnished, with all the amenities we needed, including a well-equipped kitchen. The view from the cabin was absolutely breathtaking, and we enjoyed spending time in the garden and going for walks in the surrounding area. The provisions for breakfast were excellent, with a wide range of options and lovely fresh flowers to add a special touch. The privacy and tranquility of the location made it a perfect getaway. We also appreciated the host's warm welcome and the attention to detail throughout our stay.
The wet room, which also housed the toilet, was a bit challenging as it meant wearing outdoor shoes on a wet floor. Additionally, the bathroom and shower could have been a bit larger and more powerful, respectively.

Incredible views and fantastic walks were the highlights of our stay. The communication with the owner was excellent, ensuring a smooth arrival and departure. The off-street parking was a great convenience, especially with the well-lit pathway at night. The open lounge/kitchen area was well-equipped, and we appreciated the fresh breakfast supplies that were waiting for us. Plus, the super-fast Wi-Fi was a bonus for staying connected.
There were only a few minor issues that we encountered. One extra light on the walkway would have been helpful, as it was a bit dark and I did slip once.
